North Deering Veterinary Hospital (NDVH) has been providing veterinary services to the greater Portland area since 1973. Under the guidance of Dr. Mark Mills, the clinic has grown to be a multi-veterinarian practice providing care to cats and dogs six days a week. We are passionate about providing compassionate care to your furry family members, and exceptional communication to you, the owner. Our mission is simply to provide you and your pet with the best veterinary medical and surgical care possible. We feel that the key to better health for your pet is through client education.

Our highly trained, friendly, and compassionate staff of receptionists, veterinary technicians, and doctors will work with you to determine how best to care for your “four-footed friend.” Meet the team.

We emphasize preventative medicine and also provide full services for surgery, radiology, and dentistry. We also provide a number of in-hospital services with regular visits from traveling specialty veterinarians. Please see our services page for a full list of what we have to offer.

FEES AND INSURANCE

We require Full Payment at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, credit cards (American Express, Master Card, Visa, Discover), as well as Care Credit.

If you have financial constraints, please let us know right away.

If you have pet insurance and would like to make a claim, please have your policy number and claim forms ready at the time of service. Paid invoices and forms will be faxed or e-mailed to the insurance provider (Trupanion, Embrace, Nationwide, ASPCA, etc.) and the provider will provide any reimbursements directly to you.
